I hesitate to put up rates, as I don't want to drive anyone away. Yet at the same time, if I myself am researching something online and someone doesn't list their rates, I automatically assume it is too expensive.
With that in mind.....
Our base rate is $75 per musician.
This includes rehearsal and ceremony (prelude, processional, recessional, postlude).
We charge a flat mileage rate if we have to drive over 20 miles one way ($50).
You will need to reimburse us for any requested music we have to purchase.
There may be an additional charge for special arrangements of songs.
Translating a vocal song to an instrumental song takes some work (figuring out parts and putting it on paper) and extra practices.
Rates for receptions will vary depending on what type of music you are wanting and how long you want us to play.

If you hesitate, because these rates seem too cheap compared to what you have seen as you shop around, let me tell you why: Charging exorbitant rates doesn't make someone any better of a musician. We have decided that this amount is all we need. We're not trying to make a living off of this; we do this because we enjoy it, and because we want you to be able to afford the beautiful music you've been dreaming of.
